I like to consider myself an equal opportunist when it comes to jewlery. I love all kinds: costume, vintage, handmade and fine jewelry, each has a special place in my jewelry box. Costume jewelry is fun, typically bold and oversize (yet inexpensive), prefect for making a statement. Vintage jewelry is unique and I love the fact that each piece has a history of a previous life (or lives). Handmade jewelry is extra special, crafted carefully from someone's idea and creativy ending in a tangible, wearable piece. Fine jewelry is stunning and a true investment piece. When it comes to pieces that I know I will wear everyday - watch, wedding band and my engagement ring (or really any ring for that matter), I want it to be crafted from the best materials.
There are so many amazing sites available for fine jewelry browsing which, in my opinion, provide a much nicer way to look at jewelry than the "high pressure" environment that exsists in some jewelry stores. Recently, the lovely folks at rockstv.com asked me to check out their site. Unlike many other jewelry sites that I've come across, Rocks TV offers up a unique assortment of fine jewelry at a variety of price points from diamonds set in 14k gold settings to sterling silver pieces. Of course, I did a bit of window shopping :) Here a few of my favorites:
no. 1 mystic peony topaz stud earrings (such a stunning color!) no. 2 brazilian tourmaline + diamond earrings no. 3 I've always wanted to get a garnet ring (Andy's birthstone) to wear on my right hand ring finger no. 4 while I've seen a lot of agate necklaces, this purple agate bracelet is so pretty and unique no. 5 carnelian ring (wow!)
If you are looking buy silver jewelry online please consider checking out the lovely assortment at www.rockstv.com.
