I love this picture. It is a picture I took of Andy taking off one evening heading off to work. It might sound a bit corny, but I just get chills (the good kind) watching Andy fly (both when I am actually in the plane with him or watching him from the ground, like I was here). I don't know how many of you have been up close and personal with a cockpit but to me they are overwhelming places full of fancy gauges and special equipment. Yet, somehow, Andy makes it seem so easy and fun!
I haven't really talked about it much on the blog but right now Andy is in the middle of a mid-life career change following the mantra "do what you love, love what you do" mantra. So, he is chasing his dream of being a professional pilot! I am so, so proud of him for following his heart and finding career happiness!
The other big news? This weekend Andy and I have tickets to go see Cirque de Soleil Michael Jackson. So, so excited. Both Andy and I are huge Michael Jackson fans - I'm sure it will be amazing!

good for him, that is exciting! The closest I've been to the inside of a cockpit is Pan Am haha. Have fun at the show!
