Over the holiday season, I was fortunate enough to have one of my vendors generously send me a box of assorted cupcakes from the famously delicious Georgetown Cupcake. With practically equal parts frosting and cake, let me tell you, they were nothing short of amazing. My favorite flavor (though, I feel a bit plain jane to even share this) was Vanilla Birthday (Classic madagascar bourbon vanilla cupcake topped with a traditional sweet vanilla buttercream frosting and rainbow sprinkles). It is taking all my will-power not to order up another dozen right now ... yum!

ReplyDeleteSo delicious! I got a chance to visit their shop in DC... I tried Chocolate Mint and Chocolate Coconut! BEST CUPCAKES EVER.

ReplyDeleteMy favorite cake is funfetti cake with vanilla icing so I am almost 100% sure these would make my belly very happy. Look how cute and perfectly round the top is. I've never heard of this cupcake bakery but I see they have one in SoHo, NYC. I go there quite often I'm going to have to check it out.

It is a wonderful place. I've had the good fortune to stop in and purchase and then eat the delicious confection on the sidewalk...that's right, it didn't make it past the sidewalk!

ReplyDeleteMy friend went to Georgetown last week and picked up 2 for me. IT was sooo good, I cant remember what it was called but the icing was not too sweet and perfect.
